I’m leaving this review as an advocate for a patient who resides in a care facility and lives with dementia, functioning at the level of a young child. Today’s visit was extremely upsetting for him. There was ongoing conflict and visible frustration displayed by the doctor for an extended period of time, and unfortunately this behavior was witnessed directly by the patient. Because of his mental state, situations like this can be very distressing and confusing, and it took a significant emotional toll on him.
I do want to clarify that this situation was created by the doctor’s actions, not the usual experience we have had with the office.
Families and facilities trust dental offices to provide not only quality care, but also a calm and respectful environment — especially for vulnerable patients who cannot fully understand what is happening around them. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future patients, particularly those with cognitive impairments, are treated in a more supportive and compassionate atmosphere.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars for Star Smiles Dentistry!
Today was my first visit to Star Smiles Dentistry, and I have to say — this place truly lives up to its name! 🌟 From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt calm, welcoming, and down-to-earth — not like most dentist offices that feel tense or intimidating.
The front desk lady greeted me with a smile and was both kind and efficient. She made check-in simple and took time to understand my situation. The dental assistants who helped with my x-rays were super friendly, gentle, and warm — they made the whole process feel easy and comfortable.
The dentist, who was a woman, was absolutely wonderful! She was professional yet kind-hearted and took time to explain everything in a way that made sense. Growing up, I didn’t have regular dental care, but she never made me feel embarrassed about that. Instead, she encouraged me, educated me about my teeth, and made me feel truly cared for.
When I went back to the front desk to talk about my treatment plan, the staff member was patient and thorough. She walked me through the payment plan options and explained everything clearly. All I have to do now is call to schedule my fillings — so simple!
Every single woman I met today — from start to finish — was friendly, helpful, and genuine. I left feeling comfortable, informed, and confident about taking care of my teeth. If you’re looking for a dental office where people actually care, Star Smiles Dentistry is the place to go! 🦷💫

Doctor was very professional and provided thorough exam. I am not normally comfortable in the dental chair but doctor and staff were patient. The hygiene portion of the visit was probably the best ever. Thank you!

It went well. Everybody is very good at what they do. You dont always hear what you want when it come to your teeth, but who's fault is that. The front desk staff is great and she really helped me figure out what my best move would be concerning my problem-Thank you! 😀

Will you please send my X-rays to my new dentist. I have called numerous times. I was told you would, but now no one is answering the phone. Insurance only pays for x-rays every few years, so to get into a new dentist up in Abilene I need to have these and your lack of administration and customer service is preventing me from receiving care. So much so that I have to write a review to try to get your attention.
Both myself and the new dentist have emailed the manager email and called. So please, will you send my X-rays so I can receive care?
