Dentist visits usually aren’t my idea of fun, but friendly staff and accurate billing make all the difference. I left my previous dentist after they sent me to collections for a service that was never performed, blaming it on a “new billing process.” That wasn’t my problem.
I’ve now been to this office twice, and the people have been great, with no billing issues so far. Everyone has been awesome. The only downside is the sheer number of forms to fill out. I told myself I’d walk out if there was one more—and luckily, that last form really was the last one.

I had my first visit at StarWhite last week for a cleaning. My hygienist Christy was awesome. She did a great job getting my teeth nice & clean with zero pain. I don't grind my teeth, but I do clinch alot so Christy recommended the Plackers Grind No More mouth guards. I ordered them from Amazon and received them the next day. I didn't realize how much I clinched until she brought it to my attention. She also recommended CoCo or
Burst dental floss, of which I will try because I am an avid flosser.😁
As far as the environment, the office is very clean & modern. The front desk staff are so nice and friendly. My exam showed that I had an old filling that was leaking and needed to be replaced. Dr. Papworth came in to discuss my exam & to explain exactly what would happen when I came back for my filling. I was able to get an appointment for less than a week away (today). I was so nervous all weekend thinking about the process. Dawn was so sweet & comforting getting me prepared for the procedure. I love that they have TVs in all the rooms & you don't have to watch only news channels. They even have Netflix! I watched Despicable Me (love that movie) while I waited for the numbing to kick in. Dr. Papworth came in & assured me that I would be just fine & the process would only take about 10 minutes. He was absolutely, 100% correct! I didn't feel anything & it went by so fast. Dr. Papworth is amazing & has such a gentle touch & he really erased all of my anxiety. BONUS - He is extremely easy on the eyes.😊 I highly recommend StarWhite to anyone looking for a new dental home.

This place is great! It’s clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. Annette, the hygienist, is particularly great. She was very gentle with my sensitive teeth during my regular check-up.

I’ve been a loyal StarWhite Dental patient for years, thousands spent on procedures, cleanings, and surgeries, and I’ve never experienced anything as unprofessional as what happened today.
I called in advance to confirm my appointment and make sure my account was in good standing. I was also planning to renew the dental plan, which their own website clearly shows as eligible for renewal. Instead, the front desk representative spoke to me with an attitude that was unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and condescending from the very first minute.
She insisted the renewal plan “no longer exists” and demanded full payment upfront, contradicting the information on their website. When I explained I could pay the $100 now and the remaining $40 next week, something I’ve responsibly done in the past with their full support, she refused without a second thought. No accommodation. No courtesy. No respect.
And while I was literally checking my account for additional funds to resolve the situation, she cancelled my appointment behind my back, reassigned it to someone else, and did not even bother to notify me.
Then, to make the situation even more absurd, she charged me a $50 cancellation fee, for an appointment she herself cancelled while I was still on the phone trying to pay. You cannot make this up.
This wasn’t a simple misunderstanding; it was a complete disregard for a long-standing patient. I only wanted a cleaning with Liz before she retires at the end of December. These appointments are hard to get. Instead, I walked away with no appointment, a $50 charge, and one of the most disrespectful customer service experiences I’ve had in years.
After everything I’ve invested here over the years, this level of treatment is unacceptable. It’s a shame to see a good history ruined by front desk behavior like this. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I experienced, and at this point, I’m not sure I’ll be returning to StarWhite Dental again.

Love getting my teeth cleaned at this Dental practice. Wonderful hygienist and Doctor.
I had a broken root coming through my gums from an extraction By an oral surgeon a few years ago. Dr. Papworth asked if I would consent to having that removed? My reply was absolutely I don’t know why it’s recently shown up. They did a full 360° scan. Then he put to sleep just the area where the extraction would happen. Which was completely undetected. I felt no needle or medicine going in. After a few minutes, he came back and started looking at the area again and said OK you’re finished. I had no idea. He took the broken root out. Very skilled doctor with an office that does everything. Thank you so much for your skilled work and always making my experience there a joyful one
