I paid over $800 out of pocket for my wisdom teeth surgery. My insurance claim took nearly two months to process, and I was told I was already “60 days late.” Then two more months passed, and I was suddenly given one week to pay an additional $178 before “further action.” The timeline makes no sense and the billing communication has been aggressive and inconsistent.
On top of that, there was essentially no meaningful follow-up after the first week post-surgery. For a surgical procedure involving sedation and impacted teeth, I expected better patient communication.
The clinical work itself may have been fine, but the billing practices and lack of follow-up left a very negative impression. Review your EOB carefully and question any discrepancies before paying.

I had all four of my wisdom teeth (2 of which were bone impacted). I had never had surgery or anesthesia or even an IV before I got my wisdom teeth removed so I was very nervous. Everyone in the office helped distract me while I was being put under and made me feel so much better. Dr. Lindsey did fantastic work. I had minimal swelling and bruising and no dry socket and the pain was very manageable. 10/10 would recommend them!

3/20/26- I wanted to come back and update my experience below. Thank you to Dr. Sean Rosenberg for personally reaching out to me regarding this interaction and making sure that I was able to get my son in to seen also ensuring that the below interaction and information is not how this practice operates. Also thank you to Kelly (office manager) for reaching out and helping set the consultation up for my child. It means a lot that you all took the time to make this right.
I contacted this group to set up oral surgery for my child as they are in network with my insurance. I was advised that my child could not be seen their because his dentist is through Comfort Dental. I am not sure why we would be denied care because of the dentist we choose to see as these are completely different services. The dentist is unable to perform the oral surgery needed. This is such a poor experience and discrimitory. I would not recommend anyone go to a practice that denies based off a personal choice.

I had an appointment today with Dr. Shaun Rotenberg for a tooth extraction, and not only did he make the entire process seamless, he was also able to place an implant immediately. He and his entire office staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. The level of efficiency and professionalism they showed from start to finish was truly outstanding.
I’ve been through this process before, and nothing compares to the experience I had today. I never thought I’d say this about an oral surgery visit, but it was genuinely a delightful experience! Dr. Rotenberg is exceptional at what he does, and I’m so grateful to have been in such skilled and caring hands. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Steiner Rotenberg! He's such a fantastic dentist who really cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen to my concerns, which means a lot. I was pretty anxious before getting a few gum grafts and two implants, but Dr. Steiner was there to reassure me at every step. He promised me it would be painless, and I'm so thankful to say that it really was! I felt absolutely no pain at all with the implants. Yes, it took some time and was definitely a financial commitment, but honestly, I believe it was worth every bit of it.
