Great experience! Staff was awesome. Dr Sterling made sure I was comfortable the entire time. He made sure I understood what he was doing. I had two root canals done in 2 days. I didn't like how I was really numb for a long time after the first one......we talked about it before the second root canal.... he used a different medicine and I was only numb for about an hour! So much better! I really appreciate that he listened to me and adjusted for my needs.

I had a really good experience with Dr. Sterling, Nicole, Natalie, and the whole team at Sterling Endodontics! I had a kind of mystery case where none of my other dentists could figure out where my horrible tooth pain was coming from. He discovered that I had a crack in an adjacent tooth that had never been uncovered. Dr Sterling was kind and attentive during the root canal and called me the next day himself to check on me. I’m sure that is just what he normally does, but it let me know that he cared and paid attention to my case and my experience with him.

My regular dentist recommended I get one of my root canals looked at. My experience with Sterling was very professional and well done. Needed to have a retreat done and it was a relatively painless experience. Dr. Sterling and staff were all great to work with.

Dr Sterling and his staff were amazing. From the moment I walked in I was kindly greeted by Natalie and helped back for the consultation as well as the follow up appointment by Katelyn. Katelyn who assisted in my consultation and procedure was the best! She was very friendly and made the whole process enjoyable. Everything was done in a timely manner and Dr Sterling made sure that I was in the least amount of pain as possible. Overall it was great and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks for everything!

Went in for a root canal, and it was a breeze! It was so calm and inviting for a dentist office. Dr. Sterling was very informative in everything he did. Took 1 hour and he mentioned it could be sore later on, and was not even sore!

Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. Kip Sterling, DDS, MS, a board certified endodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, whom the practice describes as Cache Valley's only board certified endodontist. Dr. Sterling completed two additional years of specialty training in endodontics after dental school, practiced for six years in Gilbert, Arizona, where he was named a Phoenix Magazine Top Dentist in 2018, 2020 and 2021, and relocated to Cache Valley in 2021. The practice was established by Dr. Steven Larsen, DDS, MS, who the practice notes was Cache Valley's very first endodontist and who spent years teaching endodontics at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. Dr. Larsen is now retired from treating patients, and the practice states that together the two doctors have 55 years of dental experience.
