Review: I have experienced multiple dental issues throughout my life.
I have had almost every problem possible, from braces twice, jaw surgery, dry sockets, bad fillings, bad crowns, root canals, TMJ, teeth removed, permanent bridges, removable appliances,….you name it.
One specific incident left me so traumatized that I refused to return to the dentist for many years.
When I realized that Dr Cutbirth could use sedation, I made an appointment.
I sat in his office and tearfully explained my history.
Dr Cutbirth listened attentively and outlined a plan that would not only fix some of my issues but would allow me to be trauma-free.
Dr Cutbirth has excellent training but because of his love of learning, he is always pursuing cutting edge procedures. The labs he uses produce quality work and do not cut corners to benefit financially.
The individual attention is a stark difference from the musical chairs of most dental offices.
I highly recommend Dr. Cutbirth not only for his quality work but for those who have been traumatized by past experiences.

Steven T. Cutbirth DDS is a comprehensive dental practice at 1613 Lake Success Drive in Waco, Texas, serving patients from Waco and the nearby communities of Woodway, Hewitt, Robinson, and China Spring. The practice is built around restorative and cosmetic dentistry along with general dentistry, treatment for jaw joint (TMJ) problems, snoring and sleep apnea care, and emergency dental care. For patients who prefer it, the office offers sedation dentistry options including nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and intravenous (IV) sedation. For patients missing one or more teeth, the practice provides medical-grade titanium dental implants and describes implant services that include single tooth implants, fixed implant bridges, implant-supported dentures, All on 4 dental implants, mini dental implants, and bone grafting for implants. Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. Steven T. Cutbirth, DDS, who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor Dental School and completed a two-year oral surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Dentistry, which trained him in oral surgery and certified him to administer IV sedation. According to the practice's website, he has administered more than 9,000 IV sedation cases over 40 years of practice. He holds the Master of the Academy of General Dentistry designation, served as a faculty member at the Pankey Institute for advanced dental education, and was the founding director of the Center for Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry (CARD), which taught advanced techniques to practicing dentists. He also produces dental education videos for other dentists through his YouTube channel, The Dental Minute, and the website states he has been recognized by Texas Monthly as a Texas Super Dentist for the past 30 years.
