Excellent experience during my recent visit with Stopperich Oral Surgery. I had a tooth extracted and a dental implant started. It was quick and painless. Dr. Stopperich was focused on my comfort level throughout and kept me informed as to the whole process. I was very pleased with the whole experience from the front office to walking out the door. Excellent experience with Dr. Stopperich for an extraction and implant. My dentist referred me to him, and the care was top notch. He created a solid plan and followed up diligently to ensure everything was healing correctly. The surgery was fast and professional, and I had zero issues afterward. If you need an oral surgeon who is both skilled and attentive, this is the place to go.

I had a great experience at SOS!! Dr. Shawn Stopperich is amazing, very knowledgeable and super nice. I never had any dental work done so I was pretty anxious but they took great care of me, and made me feel comfortable during the entire consult and surgery! Ensuring patient comfort. Everything went smoothly and fast! & recovery was amazing. They even call you post surgery to check up on you. I highly recommend this professional practice for any of your extraction needs. :)

Stopperich Oral Surgery is amazing. Everyone is kind, compassionate and very understanding. I made a mistake with the timing of my procedure and they were patient and accommodating. The oral surgeon took his time in explaining the procedure and making sure my questions were answered. The entire team was truly professional. They made the entire process easy. They are truly exceptional.

This was a long time coming for me and Dr. Stopperich and his team made this such an easy experience. I drove over an hour. Very professional but with great bedside manners from start to finish. I had a lot of teeth removed and was in and out within an hour and the pain only lasted day one. The next morning I felt fine very little pain. Dr. Stopperich even called me himself on a Sunday to follow up and see how I was doing. Highly recommend.

Stopperich Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral surgery practice located at 100 Wilhaven Road, Suite 101 in McMurray, Pennsylvania. The practice's two surgeons, Dr. P. Shawn Stopperich and Dr. George Koutras, provide a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, ranging from dental implant procedures to wisdom tooth removal. They also diagnose and treat pathologic conditions, facial pain, and facial injuries, and perform a full range of bone grafting procedures, including socket preservation, ridge augmentation, and sinus lifts. Additional services listed on the practice's website include tooth removal, anesthesia, cone beam three-dimensional scanning, oral pathology, and platelet rich fibrin therapy.
For patients who have lost most or all of their teeth, the practice offers Straumann Pro-Arch, also described as Teeth-in-a-Day, in which as few as four dental implants can support a complete set of upper or lower teeth, and temporary teeth may be connected to the implants within 24 hours depending on the individual case. He is a fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, a fellow and diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a past president of the Western PA Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and a member of the Pennsylvania Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. George Koutras, DDS, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where he also completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency and served as chief resident, and he is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
