I had such a great experience with Dr.Ben shimmel and his team. My surgeon is not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but he’s also genuinely funny. his sense of humor made the whole experience so much easier and took away so much of my anxiety. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing, and he explains everything clearly while keeping the atmosphere light and comfortable.
The staff is just as amazing , warm, welcoming, and also full of good humor. They made me feel cared for from start to finish and kept the entire visit stress-free.
The procedure went smoothly, and I felt very confident being in their hands. I’m truly grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and the positive energy they all brought. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a talented, trustworthy, and friendly oral surgery team!

I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Shimel, and the entire experience was good. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful with large windows overlooking trees. That made a huge difference for someone like me who tends to get anxious about dental procedures. They also have advanced technology like the 3D CAT scan and it seems like everything in the office is top-notch.
Before the extraction, he took the time to explain the pros, cons, and potential risks in a way that felt personal and thorough. He listened to my concerns and made sure I felt informed and comfortable before moving forward.
The staff were warm, professional, and very patient. They handled all my insurance questions, even calling my provider to clarify coverage, which took a huge burden off me. I also appreciated how responsive they were over email and phone leading up to the appointment.
What stood out most was the post-op care. Dr. Shimel personally texted me later that evening to check on how I was doing. That kind of follow-up is rare and deeply appreciated which shows a genuine level of care.
I’d highly recommend Dr. Shimel and his team to anyone looking for dental care that’s both expert and compassionate.

Dr Shimel is the best!! His office is organized and efficient but most importantly he is a great guy, professional and yet personal- don’t bother looking anywhere else for an oral surgeon!!

Had a very good experience with Dr Shimel and his team for my daughter’s wisdom teeth extraction. He explained the procedure clearly & answered our questions. He was friendly and very reassuring, he made sure that my daughter & I felt comfortable & safe every step of the way. My daughter experienced some discomfort for a few days after the procedure which was expected because we were given a clear follow up instructions and what to expect. Dr Shimel even called the next day which was a Saturday to make sure that my daughter is doing ok. A few days later, one of his staff also called to make sure that she’s recovering well. I recommend Dr Shimel to anyone needing oral surgery. He and his team are awesome, from the front desk to his assistants and his office is really nice and clean!!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a dental front desk, just like what other reviews said about rude and disrespectful behavior.
I paid in full upfront for a consultation and requested to mail me the reimbursement check from insurance. I waited for two weeks, no check arrived. Called the office, Oh, they forgot to mail it. Waited for another two weeks, called the office again. The front desk said “I don’t know. You have to contact post office” She kept repeating that it is not their problem. And if I request a reissued check, I have to pay a $30 dollars fee for doctor’s time to write a check. Basically, it is all patient’s cost if their mail gets lost. So much hassle just to get a reimbursement check. I wouldn’t bother coming here for an oral surgery. There are other good oral surgeons with a respectful front desk and NO full payments upfront . What a customer service!
