I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the wonderful care I received during my wisdom tooth extraction today. This was my second time visiting your Fayetteville office, and once again, my experience exceeded all expectations.
I specifically requested Dr. Bourgeois because of the excellent job he did with my first extraction, and I am so grateful I did. His skill, calm demeanor, and sense of humor immediately puts you at ease. He is a highly skilled Oral Surgeon, and it’s absolutely clear he holds sincere compassion for his patients. Today he was assisted by Valerie, who was amazingly exceptional throughout the entire process.
Valerie has such a warm and engaging spirit. She was incredibly attentive during the surgical extraction and made sure I felt comfortable and supported at every step. She also took the time to thoroughly explain all of my post-operative and home care instructions in a way that felt patient, clear, and genuinely caring. I never felt rushed—only cared for.
Together, Dr. Bourgeois and Valerie created an experience that felt truly above the standard of care. Their compassion, professionalism, and warmth made what could have been a stressful procedure feel manageable and even positive. I am deeply grateful and sincerely appreciative of the care they provided.
Thank you for giving me another outstanding experience. It truly means more than I can say.

Botched my dental implant. No upfront discussion like.. hey this is an exceptionally challening one or it could fail. Just total suprise.. oops it didn;t work. Highly unprofessional during surgery. Dropped inplant not once but twice. Once onto my arm then in my mouth. Discussing weekend plans and chit chatting while performing surgery. You really need to rain in that assistant and stress how unprofessional this is.
I received partial refund (not even full refund of xrays, and they coulnt even mail check correctly) after a painful and very uncomfortable failed surgery and potentially now not even able to try surgery again eslewhere due to bone degredation. At best case 4 months of waiting and social anxiety from a missing front tooth.
My take is that the guide they made was made incorrectly, was pretty obvious to me just feeling it. I would recommend going elsewhere. But unfortunatley you are really just gambling everywhere and your discomfort and inconvenience really mean nothing. Good luck.

Went to Fayetteville office, had wisdom teeth pulled (unsure if impacted). Paid $2800 upfront, $930 of it was anesthesia but I wasn’t have them all taken while awake so it was worth it. They are going to submit the work done to my dental insurance for me (which is helpful) and hopefully I’ll get some of the cost paid to me back by insurance. Crystal who worked with me in the room getting me ready was great! I just had it done today, overall it went well hopefully no future complications.

I had three teeth pull here! They were all amazing! Such an awesome staff! They don't make you feel like just a number, like most places do these days! Very friendly and kind! Also the dentist that pulled my teeth did amazing, I have no swelling and hardly any pain! It was definitely worth the hour and 20 min drive for me to get there! Would highly recommend!

Syracuse Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral surgery practice with four Central New York offices, in Fayetteville, North Syracuse, Oneida, and Camillus. The Fayetteville office is located at 4000 Medical Center Drive, Suite B13, on the campus of the Fayetteville Medical Center, and welcomes patients from Fayetteville, Manlius, DeWitt, Jamesville, Minoa, Chittenango, Cazenovia, and surrounding communities. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
