I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ricardo Ortiz. From the very beginning, he made me feel comfortable and well-informed about my wisdom teeth removal procedure. His professionalism, precision, and attention to detail were truly outstanding.
The surgery went smoothly, and my recovery was much easier than I expected. Dr. Ortiz and his team were incredibly attentive, caring, and supportive throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt confident and at ease.
If you’re looking for a skilled and trustworthy maxillofacial surgeon, I highly recommend Dr. Ricardo Ortiz. You will be in great hands.

Throughout my year long process of having a tooth extracted and the preparation of 2 implants, it has been such a phenomenal experience. After each step, I experienced zero to small amount of pain. Lack of pain is not because of meds, it has everything to do with Dr. Ortiz’s expertise and the care he has for every patient. The staff is knowledgeable in their craft and exceptionally friendly. Dr. Ortiz took time with me to answer any and all questions I had. I did not feel like another number.
If you are on the fence about having a tooth pulled and replacing it with an implant, at least give this office a look see. You won’t be disappointed. The money I spent is totally worth it.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ortiz during my wisdom teeth removal. From the beginning, everything was explained clearly, and the anesthesia made the procedure very comfortable. The entire staff was kind, attentive, and truly focused on making sure I felt calm and comfortable at all times.
The quality of care and attention I received made the experience well worth it. The work was outstanding, and the team continued to be very attentive during my post-surgery recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Ortiz and his team.

Outstanding experience at Tallahassee Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive. The office is modern, clean, and very comfortable, which made the whole visit much more relaxing.
Dr. Ricardo Ortiz and his team showed exceptional skill and care. They explained every step of the procedure clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident and comfortable throughout the entire process. The service was quick, efficient, and truly top-quality.
I highly recommend this place to anyone needing oral or maxillofacial care. Excellent service and a team that genuinely cares about their patients.

Dr. Ricardo Ortiz is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable oral surgeon. From the moment I called to schedule my son's consultation, the process was fast, efficient, and stress-free. The office staff is welcoming, professional, and creates a friendly atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease.
Scheduling the surgery was quick, and on the day of, everything was handled seamlessly, and it was in and out in about 30 minutes. The procedure itself went smoothly, and my son's recovery was much easier than expected.
The vibe of the office is excellent, and you can tell the whole team truly cares about their patients. I highly recommend Dr. Ortiz and his staff for anyone in need of oral surgery. You sure will be in great hands!

Dr. Ricardo Ortiz, DMD, MD, is the practice's oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He holds both dental and medical degrees, is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, and completed advanced surgical and anesthesia training through Harvard-affiliated programs including Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board-certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Ortiz is a retired U.S. Navy and Army veteran with more than 20 years of military service, and his experience treating facial trauma during deployment to Iraq shaped his focus on complex reconstructive care. In addition to leading his private practice, which he established in 2018, he serves as Senior Surgeon for the Facial Trauma Team at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.
