I cannot say enough good things about Tar Heel Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Garner, NC.
Dr. Katwal performed my procedure, and she was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, she communicated clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel completely informed and comfortable. Her entire team was equally wonderful, super professional, caring, and welcoming throughout the entire experience.
I am someone who gets extremely nervous before medical procedures and genuinely dislikes needles, so I was dreading the appointment. However, Dr. Katwal’s kindness, professionalism, and sense of humor completely changed how I felt. She and her team put me at ease right away and helped turn what I expected to be a stressful experience into a very positive one.
If you’re looking for exceptional periodontal care, I highly recommend Dr. Katwal, her team, and Tar Heel Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. They provide outstanding patient care and truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and confident in your treatment.

Flor and Dr. Katwal were great. I had a gum graft done and their confidence and kindness were so appreciated since this was my first procedure. I had so many questions that were answered during the pre op consult and then had more afterwards and Dr. Katwal got on the phone with me to answer them. So kind and also they both have a great sense of humor. The procedure and healing was exactly as described and when I had a weird moment where one of my stiches came loose (turns out it was dissolvable so it was supposed to), they got me in the next morning to check it out. Flor was super reassuring during the check ins. They are awesome!
Also Kardejiah at the front desk is so amazing and kind. Checking in felt like seeing an old friend. She was also super helpful with getting everything scheduled around my work!!

Dr. Katwal and her assistant, Flor, provided great care while extracting a molar. I was given great analgesia and had minimal discomfort during the procedure. Those two worked together seamlessly. Flor anticipated Dr. Katwal's needs during the extraction and was an integral part of the procedure. Pre and post op instructions were thoroughly explained by both of them. They are both very skilled practitioners and I would highly recommend them for your periodontal needs.

Excellent service from check in to check out. Ana & Kadejiah were awesome at the front desk and Dr. Katwal & Flor were superb in the examination and cleaning. All were very thorough, thoughtful, courteous, friendly & wonderful. Will definitely recommend.

Dr Katwal did great job on my surgery. She made me feel so comfortable. She showed compassion and made me feel so peaceful.
I highly recommend her. She’s so funny.
She took the time to explain everything before surgery and after surgery. She told me about herself about practicing.
Flor was so wonderful to me during everything. When she took out my stitches she kept asked are you ok. And kept checking on me. When we got done she took the time and we had conversation that made me feel good. She took extra time with me and did not leave me. She’s such a sweet young lady. Stop by and say hello to her.
The young lady at the front desk is wonderful one visit and she remembers my name. She’s always smiling.
