From the moment you enter the door, the professionalism and attention to detail is evident. I am always greeted warmly and promptly attended to. The staff is exceptional and always explains every aspect of the process. You are not just a patient, your comfort and understanding of care is a true priority. Dr. Taylor ensures you are an integral part of any care plan. She is careful to ensure you are provided clear information and pictures so you know exactly why she recommends treatment if necessary. She is equally careful to ensure my comfort. Best dentist by far I have ever had!

Dr. Marin was absolutely wonderful. She took her time explaining every step of my procedure, answered all my questions, and was so patient and calming throughout the entire appointment (even despite my high anxiety!). Her assistant was also incredibly kind and made the whole experience even better.
Because I wear plastic retainers, I was nervous about how everything would fit afterward, but Dr. Marin made sure they fit smoothly over my filling with no issues at all. I’m even sending my husband to her next because that is how confident I am in her care and skills!
Their office is warm, welcoming, and everyone is genuinely so nice. I highly recommend Dr. Marin and her team! They will take great care of you.

Erin, the hygienist and Ainsley, Tracy and Emily from the front desk are all very engaging and helpful. The overall atmosphere at Taylor Dentistry is designed to be calm and relaxing. Not such an easy task for a dental practice! I highly recommend them, even though they don’t take my insurance.

Best dentistry in Gainesville! I have a very sensitive gag reflex so x-rays are difficult for me and I also have anxiety about going to the dentist. Chrissy and Dr. Taylor are incredibly patient, kind, and accommodating, which made the whole experience so much easier. I highly recommend scheduling your next appointment here especially if you have dental anxiety. You won’t regret it!

I had such a great experience at Taylor Dentistry. The entire team is professional, welcoming, and genuinely cares about their patients. They make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in, and everything is explained clearly so you know exactly what to expect. I’m so glad to have found a dentist I actually look forward to visiting! Highly recommend.

About Taylor Dentistry
Taylor Dentistry is a general and family dental practice at 500 NW 43rd Street, Suite 4, in Gainesville, Florida. The practice has been caring for patients in the area since 2006 and describes its approach as personalized, with treatment tailored to each patient's needs and goals. Services include dental cleanings and exams, gum disease treatment, custom mouthguards, tooth fillings, crowns and bridges, dentures, dental veneers, teeth whitening, tooth bonding, emergency dentistry, and treatment for jaw joint (TMJ) problems and teeth grinding.
For patients missing teeth, Taylor Dentistry offers dental implant restorations in several forms: a single implant topped with a custom crown, an implant-supported bridge, implant-retained dentures that snap into place, implant-supported dentures anchored to a bar, and full-mouth reconstruction to replace all of the teeth. The practice notes that an oral surgeon places the implant posts, after which the dentists attach the replacement teeth once the implants have healed. The office uses digital X-rays and intraoral cameras, offers laughing gas for nervous patients, and provides private care rooms with pillows and blankets. A membership Care Club is available for patients without insurance, and the practice says members can save on implant treatment. The office is open Monday through Thursday.
Meet the Doctors
The practice's dentists are Dr. Cathy Taylor, DMD, and Dr. Evelyn D. Marin, DMD. Dr. Taylor, a Sarasota native, earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and completed an advanced education in general dentistry program before settling in Gainesville; the practice notes she has completed advanced training in TMJ (jaw joint) problems. Dr. Marin, originally from Peru, earned her undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Central Florida and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida, and took part in a dental outreach trip to Nicaragua during her training.
