I had my wisdom tooth pulled today by Dr. Jim, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was quick, painless, and handled with so much care. His staff is truly the best in the valley — kind, calm, and so supportive. And the highlight of it all was their therapy dog, Roxy. She sat on my lap through the entire extraction and made the whole thing feel surprisingly easy. I’m so grateful to have found this office.

I broke a molar on a trip to AZ. Got in to see Dr. Neerings when I got back to Teton Valley. He delineated my options and was able to send me out the door inside of 90 minutes with a new tooth. This is why I am a loyal customer.

Dr. Jim Neerings leads the clinical team at Teton Valley Dental Center. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and his dental degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry, then completed an additional year of advanced training at the University of Utah hospital focused on hospital dentistry and dental surgical procedures, including implants and wisdom teeth extraction. Before coming to Teton Valley, he worked in public health for nearly eight years in western Idaho. He is also a Spanish speaker, having learned the language during a two year mission in Venezuela.
