I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism at this office. I waited nearly a month for a new patient appointment for a tooth that was causing me pain, based on a coworker's recommendation.
When I arrived, they couldn't verify my insurance but gave me an out-of-pocket treatment plan and promised to call my insurance the next day to get the updated pricing. Over the next several weeks, I had to chase them down repeatedly, only to be given a string of conflicting excuses by the insurance coordinator.
First, I was told my insurer (Blue Cross Blue Shield) "randomly closed at 2:30 PM on a weekday." When I called back later, she admitted she simply forgot to reach out.
On a subsequent call weeks later, I was told they actually outsourced the verification to a third party, and the file was just sitting on her desk waiting for a response. I even emailed her my exact coverage breakdown as requested, which was completely ignored.
To top it off, two days after they promised another "urgent escalation," I received the full bill for the initial visit that should have been covered 100% by my insurance. It has now been nearly two months of living with constant tooth pain with zero resolution, just endless excuses to get me off the phone.
If you value your time, your health, or transparent billing, look elsewhere.

Dr. Mohr and staff were wonderful throughout my full top and bottom denture process. They were caring, professional, and very helpful every step of the way. I felt well taken care of and am so happy with my results. Highly recommend.

My first time coming in on 3/13. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Were very detailed and ensured my needs were met. Did a great job on my normal dental work and Dr.Mohr was so awesome. I will be back soon and if anyone is new to town and looking for a new dental practice. Check out Texas Implant and Dental Center in Amarillo.

I went here and had to get two teeth pulled I was given a flipper as a permanent option. The first flipper was way off in color and size got the new one but still could not talk or anything with it in. I was then told well this is the cheapest option and it’s not going to be perfect. I left can cried for hours thinking I would be stuck like that forever. Went to a new dentist and thankfully I did. I was not stuck with a huge flipper that was too big for my mouth and was also told this should have only been a temporary option. The only reason they get 2 stars is because I loved the dental hygienist. She is amazing there! Very sweet.

They have done a great job for me. They have a friendly and professional staff. A great job from explaining the process to teeth removal surgery and wonderful to work with for my new dentures. I think the price was fair compared to other places we checked with before coming here. I also like that they make the new dentures in house and not have them made off site.

Meet the Doctors
The practice is led by Dr. Clark Damon, an Amarillo native who has owned the Amarillo office since 2013. Dr. Damon earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston and completed a residency at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Hospital, where he trained in complex surgical procedures and IV sedation, and he currently lectures for the Nobel Biocare implant company. He is joined by Dr. Thomas Fow, a Scottsdale, Arizona native from a family of dentists who earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the United States Air Force Academy and served as an Air Force officer before pursuing dentistry. Together, Dr. Damon and Dr. Fow lead the implant and dental services at the practice.
