He completed a three-year periodontology residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, earning a periodontal specialty certification and a Master of Science degree, and he achieved board certification from the American Academy of Periodontology in 2004. He founded Texas Periodontal Associates in the fall of 2000 and continues to practice at this Houston location.
