I am not someone who enjoys going to the dentist at all, so I was pretty anxious going into my first appointment today. From the moment I arrived, the experience completely changed my expectations.
Taylor, the dental tech, was absolutely amazing. She made me feel comfortable right away, explained everything she was doing, and told me why she was doing it, which helped ease my anxiety and made me feel more in control of the visit. It was honestly the best dental experience I’ve had, especially considering it was my first appointment in a couple of years.
I go back in March for my actual teeth cleaning, and for the first time, I can genuinely say I feel comfortable going back to the dentist. The entire office provides exceptional service, and I am very happy with my decision to switch to Iowa Dental Studio.

My daughter and I have been going to see Dr. Elmitt and his associates the last 2 years! I see Dr. Elmitt and Mirnesa every 6 months and my daughter sees the doc and Ashley every 6 months. We have both had a great experience! If you are looking for a family dental practice vs separate clinics for the adults and kiddos in your family, look no further!
After her most recent appointment last week my 4 year old said, and I quote, “that was fun! I can’t wait to go to the dentist again!” Ashley did such a great job making Norah feel comfortable and even had her looking at the experience as fun. I can attest to Mirnesa’s great bedside manner and thorough cleaning she helps me with! Dr. Elmitt is kind, professional and easy to talk to and all of the front desk staff are helpful and sweet as well. I could not recommend The Dental Studio of Iowa more for all your dentistry needs!

Dr.Allison was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable before starting the procedure.
Getting a filling isn't exactly something I was looking forward to, but Dr.Allison made the entire experience as enjoyable as it possibly could have been. Throughout the entirety of the procedure, she checked in with me frequently to make sure I was comfortable and doing okay, which I appreciated. I felt super safe and confident in her care. I would absolutely recommend Dr.Allison to anyone looking for a dentist who is not only excellent at what she does, but also compassionate and attentive.

Very friendly and accommodating. I had an issue come up suddenly, and even with their busy schedule, they got me in in less than a week. All the staff I interacted with were wonderful, and made my entire experience quite enjoyable.

Great routine checkup and dental cleaning today. The front staff greeted me and other patients with smiles and warm welcomes. Julie provided thorough, gentle, and high quality hygienic care of me whilst we passed the time with fun travel stories. Doctors Elmitt and Karch always provide high quality care and advice for dental maintenance. The location is easy to get to and the facilities are spectacularly clean, always.
