I have not been a patient of this practice for a year or two, yet I continue to experience lasting adverse effects from the treatment I received there. Dr. Anderson took an aggressive approach, probing for even the tiniest “sticky” spot to justify drilling and filling, which was scheduled promptly as though the situation required urgent intervention. As a result, a significant amount of healthy, irreplaceable enamel was removed, leaving my molars cuspless with substantial structural loss and a crater-like appearance. Patients should not expect a conservative, “wait-and-see” approach at this practice. With one exception, the areas treated were neither large enough to cause pain or sensitivity, nor were they noticeably visible. As a direct result of these procedures, my teeth are now sensitive, and I experience pain when chewing moderately hard foods such as crispy bacon or tortilla chips - issues I did not have prior to treatment. In hindsight, I deeply regret not questioning or declining the recommended fillings that I believe were clinically unnecessary. I deferred to professional judgment and expertise, and have been left to endure the lasting consequences of those decisions. My trust and compliance financially benefitted this practice at the expense of my own oral health and overall quality of life. My concerns increased further when crowns were quickly introduced as a recommended course of treatment, costly procedures that would not have been required had the integrity of my enamel not been compromised to the point of being effectively eviscerated. Giving credit where credit is due, I will acknowledge that the fillings Dr. Anderson placed behind and along the bottom of my two front teeth were done exceptionally well and are aesthetically pleasing. However, this does not outweigh my broader concerns regarding the overall treatment approach and its long-term impact. I would strongly encourage prospective patients to proceed with caution, seek second opinions when multiple fillings are recommended, and ensure they fully understand the necessity, risks, and long-term implications of any proposed treatment.

The Dentists in Lawrence have become my tooth saving Queens. This group of individuals are incredible, kind, caring, and most importantly they listened and answered all my questions. I will be honest, my first visit was overwhelming because of the amount of work I need to have done. Then on my second visit I was reassured by the entire staff that they were there to help me with a treatment and payment plan to help me save my teeth. Dr Nellor, Amanda, Whitney and the entire office staff are now my new support family and I am very thankful I found The Dentists in Lawrence. If you need a dentist please give them a call and make an appointment.

From front desk to dentist - they are the best! They not only care but they listen. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Dr. Nellor treated my mouth as if it were her own - gentle and with care. A big bonus - got my permanent crown while still in the chair - didn't need to make a follow-up appointment.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Nellor and the entire staff. She is very attentive and truly listens to what you have to say. After struggling to find the right dentist, I’m so thankful to have found her. Going to the dentist can be intimidating, so it means so much to feel comfortable again!

I had a great first experience at The Dentists in Lawrence! This was my first visit in a while and Taylor did a fabulous and thorough job cleaning my teeth. Highly recommend!
