I went in for a consult for wisdom teeth removal. All staff including the doctor were very friendly and accommodating. They are very organized and kept me very informed ed about pre-op and post-op instructions. The doctor called me a few hours post surgery as a check in to see how I was during after the surgery.
I would highly recommend Dr. Y and his staff. I had a great experience.

I had a great experience with this oral surgeon and the entire staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and provided exceptional service from start to finish. They made me feel comfortable and at ease, even though I was very anxious coming in. The staff took the time to explain everything and treated me with care and respect. I truly appreciate how kind and professional they were and would highly recommend this office to anyone needing oral surgery.

Awesome awesome awesome. Dr. Yagoubian was extremely respectful, nice, and even called me the same night to see how I was feeling. Answered all of my questions thoroughly through my assessment and right before the procedure. He talked about the risks involved in the procedure, and went into meticulous detail on recovery, and what the procedure consists of. The staff is super attentive and helped me with my paperwork, the waiting room was very cute and inviting, he has lots of photo shoots with them on the TV as a group so I know he values every single individual in his office. I got my bottom two wisdom teeth removed, and they stitched me up nice, and I was out the door in about an hour and a half. They even gave me a paper of a literal road map of my diet for the next week, my post op appointment, my medication schedule, and recovery day by day.
Overall, if I could give a higher review, I would. This place was so sweet to me, and I would recommend anyone that needs any type of implant or oral surgery to go to him. He is the gold standard for oral surgeons, and doctors in general. Wish I could grow more wisdom teeth just to come back.

Referred by my dentist, I came to have my tongue looked at. The doctor was brief and spent maybe 3 minutes with me. It didn’t feel thorough, performed only a visual check without using any diagnostic equipment. They classified this an exam and not a consultation.
While I disagree, fine. My insurance (Delta Dental) did not cover most of it and I had to pay $180 out of pocket. I paid this on January 7th and they’ve continued to send me bills over a month and a half later. I’ve called twice and they’re still sending. Their billing department is disorganized and the doctor not thorough. They were not accommodating and cold. I didn’t have a good experience with Torrance Oral Surgery Center.

While I don't wish anyone have the need of an oral surgeon BUT if you do I highly recommend Dr. Benjamin Yagoubian of Torrance Oral Surgery Center. Such a positive experience in a situation that is stressful for most. Dr Yagoubian is perfectly suited for his profession. He's professional, personable, patient, and calm. All qualities that impact the outcome. His staff, likewise, possesses the same qualities. I'd be more than comfortable having my family and friends treated by this professional team.

About Torrance Oral Surgery Center
Torrance Oral Surgery Center, also known as Torrance Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Center, is located at 23451 Madison Street in Torrance, California. The practice focuses on oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implants, All-on-4 and full-arch treatment, bone grafting with platelet rich fibrin, and wisdom teeth removal. Patients come from across the South Bay, including Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, San Pedro, Carson, and El Segundo, often on referral from their general dentist.
The practice describes a process built around clear communication, with detailed pre- and post-operative instructions and a personal follow-up call after surgery to check on recovery. For implant planning, the office uses an in-house intraoral scanner, in-house 3D printing for surgical guides and models, and a cone beam CT scanner, which the practice says can shorten treatment timelines. Most PPO dental insurance plans are accepted, and financing through Cherry and CareCredit is available, with insurance benefits reviewed before treatment is scheduled.
