Such a clean and beautiful office. I was recommended by a friend and I had an amazing experience! Thank you to Brianna, Sean, James and Monica; who took extraordinary care of me. They explained everything perfectly and I’m forever grateful for all of them. I will be returning! (Please excuse my dirty crocs in the photo)

Absolutely fantastic experience! The ambiance is so open and welcome, and Dr.Connors and the whole staff went out of their way to make me feel as comfortable as possible for my wisdom teeth removal. They made sure it worked for my budget, and I felt such deep compassion from everyone there. Truly one of the best experiences I've ever had in a medical facility! Thank you!!

It was a great journey with them from start to finish. Super professional, hospitable, and knowledgeable, they made every step of the process smooth and enjoyable.
From Michelle and her team at the front to Dr. Caesar, Jenny and Claudia, everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience. They took the time to answer my questions, explain everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
They truly exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a dental team that combines professionalism with exceptional customer care.

Worst experience I have ever had, if I could give 0 stars I would.
Initially called and reconfirmed twice through different phone calls that my partners insurance would cover everything so I set the appointment up and was happy until we arrived. The initial check in was great! All of the front desk receptionists did their jobs very well however a Doctor that went by "Sean" (sp) kept trying to reassure us that we would pay $0 out the door, that day. Then proceeded to try 10 different methods of payments plan, options and credits. We refused all of them since we would not have any money to pay out of pocket that day and had profusely told the staff was had $0 to spend that day. Still they persisted for money until we mentioned we felt trapped and walked out. Would NOT recommend service here, especially from out of county and with minimal funds

They use an AI operator for answering phone calls, and it's impossible to get connected with a real person. This was a big problem because I just got my wisdom teeth extracted and unfortunately lost one set of prescribed medication. I called to get a new prescription and even though the AI operator said it would leave a message that this was urgent, I didn't hear back until 3-4 days later. I considered calling again the next day after my first call but honestly the prescription needed to be taken consistently for it to work so I gave up. I suspect what happened was that the AI Operator did NOT forward the message to the correct office. When I got the call back it came from my local office which is not where I got my teeth extracted. I specifically told the AI Operator the message was for OAKLAND location, and it knows I had my teeth extracted at that location, but I think the message never got sent there. The AI Operator even told me something like "I am sending this message to Oakland and flagging it as Urgent". Unlikely.
It's been a week since my teeth extraction and I'm still in pain. They said to call if this happened because it's not normal. Of course, I called and left a message again with the AI Operator and said on the phone, this is an "EMERGENCY" and it repeated back to me, "I'm leaving a message at the office as an EMERGENCY" but it's been several hours and I've not been called back. I don't even want to deal with them at this point and I will likely switch dentists. They clearly don't care about their patients or they would make sure the AI operator would raise emergencies to them directly and urgently.
When I arrived at the Oakland office for my teeth extraction, there were at least 5 human beings at the front desk dressed in black, not scrubs (so they likely weren't dental assistants or hygienists). Why can't any call me back?

About Total Health Dental Care - Rotunda Specialty Center
Total Health Dental Care's Rotunda Specialty Center is located in the Rotunda Building at 300 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza in downtown Oakland, just steps from City Hall and two blocks from the 12th Street BART station. This location is dedicated specifically to advanced specialty care, bringing together periodontists, oral surgeons, endodontists, and orthodontists under one roof. For patients considering dental implants, this means the surgical placement, gum related procedures, and restorative follow up can all be coordinated at a single site rather than being spread across multiple offices.
The Rotunda team offers implant placement and restoration, bone grafting and ridge augmentation, pre-prosthetic surgery, and implant supported dentures and bridges, along with full mouth reconstruction for patients with more complex needs. Many patients are referred here by their general dentist for these advanced procedures, though the practice also accepts patients directly for a consultation and treatment plan. The office is open Monday through Saturday and is easily reached by public transit or nearby parking, making specialized implant care more accessible for patients throughout the Bay Area.
Meet the Doctors
