Dr Hartwell is kind, warm, friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable. I am thrilled to have found him to help me take care of my dental health. His assistant was terrific and the office staff was very helpful.

Dr Hartwell is extremely personable. His staff was nice and everything was clean. He did a thorough exam and I was impressed with how he did a scrape of plaque and looked under the microscope then shared it with me! Fortunately it was great news. I’ve never had a dentist do that before! I wanted a biological trained Dr, and he’s definitely the one! I highly recommend him.

Dental Hygienist Amanda is gentle, thorough, competent and kind. Dr. Hartwell is personable, present during the exam, patient and thorough with his evaluation and communicative about all dental procedures and treatment. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

First dentist appointment in 4 years; regrettably, I've avoided them because of the uncomfortable experience I'm used to. My experience here was exceptional. Dr. Hartwell is the real deal!

I was on Hawaiʻi island for only a few days and I had a dental emergency--I was in so much pain. Dr. Hartwell and the staff were so ALOHA, and they took care of me and fixed me right up. I hope to become I regular patient when I move to Kaʻū next year!
