In my desperation to replace a tooth, I reached out to Touchstone Dental in April of 2026. I made an appointment for a consultation, and it took a while to hear back. I finally got an appointment, and went into the offices for a treatment plan (I was going to get a bridge). The appointment was all set for June 12th, and I paid in full and up-front. I was quite nervous, but just wanted to fix the tooth. I received a message on June 10th saying that the office was going to be closed on the 11th, but my appointment was on the 12th, so I assumed I was still scheduled. This was the beginning of many more strange and bizarre text messages from the office and Bacerra himself. When I called to confirm on the 12th, the office was closed. I called the following Monday, and they were still closed. I left messages all week with the "virtual assistant", and never heard back. I contacted the emergency line, and DR. Justin Bacerra answered...said he was out of the country. He then left some strange messages from a Hawaiian number saying "let's do this soon!", but I never heard back. The office sent a text on June 23rd, saying that DR. Bacerra would be in the office on the 23rd and could complete the procedure at 11:00 AM. I received the message at 1:00 PM on the 23rd! There's some seriously shady stuff going on with their offices, and they haven't returned my $3000. After looking into Justin Bacerra's history, there are numerous warnings from the dental board and dental associations in Colorado. I unfortunately had to add to that list, and it's doubtful he even has a license at this time; I couldn't locate one. Their offices still don't answer calls, and the "virtual assistant" is worthless, so don't bother. I simply asked them to return my money, but they won't even return a phone call. I'm just glad I didn't let Bacerra perform any surgery or procedures; I dodged a bullet. I'd advise anyone thinking of of using their services to run fast and go elsewhere. I have never experienced this level of incompetence and unprofessionalism (or fraud) with any health care professional at any level. They are also known as Alpine Dental.

I’ll change this when and if you get back to me. What is going on? Number one, ALL MY FILLINGS ARE FAILING!! Two weeks ago I had to go out of network and pay $500 to get a filling fixed that you just put in months ago. Now the tooth needs a crown. Last night, another filling fell out. This is NUMBER FOUR (and two of them have had nothing to do with further decay, though I wouldn’t rightly put the blame for *any* of this on myself). All work done by you guys in less than a year. I’m sorry to be writing negatively like this, but its just plain true - on one of my first rounds of fillings at your office, my teeth looked like they’d been filled with rough, crappy concrete. Unpolished, disgusting. You guys had to fix that, you had to fix another filling that apparently had fluid underneath and was not dried properly, thus the failure. I have taken scrupulous care of my teeth since i began seeing you guys, brushing 2-3 minutes 2-3 times a day, flossing at least once a day, and using fluoride wash at least once a day, almost always twice. This feels like a horrible, depressing battle that I’m losing, despite having spent so many hours in your chairs… and now I can’t contact you, I can’t get an appointment. And this is SCREWING ME. NOW A NEW DENTIST WILL HAVE TO MAKE ME PAY OUT OF POCKET TO FIX YOUR WORK. Do you understand how frustrating this is, how financially debilitating this is going to be? You said I was one of your favorite clients, and I considered your dentists and hygienists (and receptionists) to be friends. I don’t want to be writing this, I want my teeth fixed, properly… and you’re “temporarily closed”. My messages, for weeks and weeks, have gone ignored and unanswered. Please help me, or at least explain why you’re closed and transfer my information to the new dentist I’m being forced to change practices to.

Been coming here for over a year. I've had regular cleanings and a wisdom tooth extraction done here and they're wonderful. They went over my everyday routine to make sure I was brushing/flossing/using mouthwash effectively and they gave me some helpful tips. I really appreciate that they explain any recommended procedures and treatments without being pushy.

First time patient, the employees are very nice. Also, I felt they were extremely thorough and taught me 3 new things to help with self care for my teeth that other dentists have never mentioned.

I’ve been with Touchstone Dental for years and Dr. B and his amazing staff have always taken excellent care of me and provided incredible work for a multitude of dental issues. Just got finished with a deep cleaning and Nino was great! He made the process as painless and comfortable as possible.
