I do not recommend this office and would give them zero stars if possible. I wish I would have known they do not care about pain management, that was my biggest worry with my son’s surgery and unfortunately I was right in that being my biggest worry. I would not have brought my son here for his wisdom teeth removal if I would have known they do not care about post surgery pain. I will definitely not be bringing my other sons here when they have to get their wisdom teeth removed. We followed all of their post surgery instructions for cleaning, eating, and managing the pain, we followed the medication instructions exactly, never missing a dose of Tylenol and Ibuprofen so we didn’t get behind on those either. The pain medicine they gave him didn’t work, sometimes it would put him to sleep which was good but most of the time it wouldn’t even do that. We expected him to be in pain, and knew it wouldn’t be a pain-free experience, but we at least thought they would give him pain medicine that would at least take the edge off so he could sleep. Since It was a holiday weekend the day after his surgery we couldn’t call the office since they won’t see you unless it is an emergency. No one wants to ask for better pain medicine these days anyway, but I hoped they would be helpful at his follow up appointment especially since we followed their post-surgery instructions and medication instructions exactly. They were not helpful at all, they weren’t even sympathetic which is terrible for a place doing surgery on teeth! We explained we are worried about him being in pain this coming week as we are traveling to the other side of the country to visit family. They just told him to rinse it out with a syringe. I wish someone would have warned me about how little they care about pain so that I could have gone somewhere else.

Dr. Knibbe is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything fully and answer any questions. He is very caring about his patients and he even called me the next day to make sure I was ok. I would highly recommend him if you need a dental surgeon.
