Dr. Simoncic and the Triad Oral Surgery team in High Point, NC are top-notch. From the reviews on Yelp! and other parts of the internet, you may get a different impression, but I am going to tell it like it really is and help you out. Keep in mind, I expect complete professionalism, patience, and inclusion in my care. I am hypervigilant about cleanliness and kindness to preserve my physical and emotional well-being and that of others. Therefore, I pay attention to EVERYTHING. Lol
From the moment they open their doors, this office is busy with patients. I am sure this is because it is one of the few surgery centers around that accepts many forms of insurance, including Medicaid. Despite how busy this office appears, the lobby was clean and orderly, and the ambiance was as nice as any regular dental or medical office. It is in a well-appointed, modern building, with technology for scans and viewing. However, it could use a larger waiting room (since many patients were waiting along with me). There was a TV for viewing and reading materials. The patient room was clean and comfortable, obviously well prepared for the doctor to enter. I mentioned the office being a Surgery Center earlier. I think some people may confuse it with a regular doctor's office when they complain about wait times. This is a center that performs surgical procedures that require anesthesia and precision. If you were being treated, I am positive you would want the surgeon to take his time with you, too.
The office is run professionally and in an organized manner. They even have access for patients to complete all paperwork online before their appointment. They remind you several times by phone and email about your appointment, and the staff are all great during the visit. I had a 12 pm appointment and was called back by 12:45 pm. Dr. Simoncic was a joy to meet. He explained my condition, educated me on the options, and discussed why he would take a less invasive approach for me. He also offered another treatment I had not considered, and I opted into it. I was out of the building by 2:15 pm after scans, seeing the doctor, and a final treatment plan consultation.
My experience at Triad Oral Surgery was more than enjoyable, especially given that Dr. Simoncic is currently the only surgeon on staff. That's right. He is juggling all patients, and they are still managing a thriving surgical center. That is commendable. I would recommend this office to anyone needing oral surgery.

This office was very prompt in getting me scheduled for my wisdom teeth extractions. The ladies are the front desk were kind and organized when I arrived. Despite the other reviews, I did not have an extra long wait. I would still come prepared for wait times because this office is very transparent that sometimes the wait can be long. Dr.Simoncic is very kind hearted. He was thorough when explaining the procedure and was reassuring when I expressed some anxiousness. Thank you to the dental assistants that continued to check in on me while I waited for my procedure to start and for staying with me when it was over. I would recommend this office if you are looking for good overall services. Remember being kind & patient could take you a long way, so please bring some of that with you to your appointment!

Some folks in there are very nice but the ones who are rude made this 2 star rating possible. My child was scared and only one person was kind enough to make her feel at ease. You wait all day for them to rush through and not explain to a scared child what they are doing. It truly appears this place overbooks and is money driven. Glad this was a one time thing. The doctor was nice enough. But the older lady who brought my child out after surgery lied to me. I asked why my child had to walk out and everyone else was wheeled out. She said that she walks all her patients out because what are we going to do when we get home. That was a lie because she was wheeling another child out directly before she made my child walk. The lack of explanation as to what they’re doing (putting mask over face before sedation) and the lady’s attitude makes me think this place doesn’t care about patient comfortability. Hopefully, this will be taken as constructive criticism.

First I would like to say thank you, they did take care of my husband mouth quickly too after we got the financial situation taken care of.
So that's where I have a recommendation when someone makes an appointment let them know up front just because there insurance is accepted there doesn't mean it will cover the whole bill. Also let them know that they may have to spend anywhere from $0-$500 for the visit but there are payment options through loan services if accepted. Which most people are even on bad credit.
The Cherry loan services is good for the bad credit or fair credit people.
I am saying all these things because I'm sure like My husband and myself many others are on a fixed income but really need this work done. So they have to plan or reorganize finances to afford this basic need.
Lastly, I appreciate the diligence but I do believe you over book yourself and don't have enough time to spend quality time with each patient if they have questions. Slow down. You do great work, my husband left there in no pain and still doing well two days later.
Thank you again overall. The whole staff is great. *If you ever renovate please get more bathrooms. Side note

The office people are nice and helpful. They are really busy. The dental assistants and the dentists were all nice and good at their jobs. The only bad thing is the waiting time as everyone else faces. I had an appointment at 10am, but I was in the waiting room until about 2:15pm. I am a patient person and had read the reviews previously, so I knew going in that there would be a wait. That waiting time is the only negative thing. The people were all great. I would definitely return if I needed more surgery done.
