Stay away from this dental practice. They discriminate against patients who do not speak English as their first language.
I called to schedule an appointment for a family member, explained to them that I would be translating for the appointment. They said it was okay and did not even ask what language.
They called about a week before to confirm the appointment and when the topic of having me interpret for the appointment came up they told me I couldn’t. When I asked if they could instead offer an interpreter service they said no and that they don’t have those services. They automatically assumed that we needed Spanish and said someone in their office speaks Spanish but only on Thursdays. I explained that Spanish is not our language, and asked once again since they are refusing to let me translate, if they could provide someone to translate. They said no, and that they wouldn’t be able to proceed.
I tried to explain that healthcare providers are required to provide interpreters under Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act and ADA. They claimed they weren’t aware of such laws. The office manager name is Kasey and she was so un empathetic of the situation. As a healthcare professional myself, I always provide services to any and all patients regardless of their language and gladly offer language services. It’s a basic right, which clearly this practice does not understand. Will be reporting to the Dental Board.

This office is awesome. The most relaxing dental experience I've ever had. Everyone at the desk is super friendly and Dr. Nilges is a super cool. Everyone in this office is personal and they even remembered that I recently had a baby. I needed an appointment with an orthodontist and they scheduled and took care of all of it for me. If you're looking for quality dental care then this is definitely the place for you. Dr. Nilges is now my go to dentist.

Dr.Nilges and his staff are amazing. They are truly gifted in their profession. I needed a lot of work done and have had horrible experiences in the past keeping me from going to the dentist. I never got a lecture making me feel bad like every other dentist I've seen. He only cared about giving me the best smile I've ever had. you can tell how much pride they take in their profession by the quality of work they do. Everything fits perfectly and he was able to save all my teeth when others wanted to pull them all. I highly recommend Dr.Nilges especially if you want your work done right. Thank you for all your help and the amazing work you do for the veteran community.

The VA sent me to Dr. Nilges. I have had many issues with previous dentists and my anxiety goes through the roof when visiting one. He and his staff have treated me so well that I no longer dislike seeing the dentist. I look forward to being able to see them all as they are courteous friendly and professional. I highly recommend you and your family use this dental office. I assure you that you will leave happy and confident that you have chosen the right dentist. Thanks to all of you at Dr. Nilges office. You have improved my life.
