I had my Initial Appointment with Tuscarora Dental on monday of this week where they did a general assessment of my teeth. Great first impression! I was told my teeth were in surprisingly good shape since not having a dental visit in a number of years. I signed up for their basic membership plan ($600) and scheduled an appointment for what I was under the impression would be a basic cleaning. (covered under the membership for no additional cost) Two days later i returned for this seconds visit. Beginning the appointment the hygienist brought up concerns that due to tartar build up on my gum line she recommended a descale cleaning and return for remeasurement of the spaces in my teeth prior to doing the basic cleaning. she assured me it would not effect my cost today, so i agreed. Upon checking out I was handed a $300 bill! Confused. i asked for an itemized bill to see where the additional charges were coming. $250 for the descale cleaning. I explained i scheduled the basic cleaning, covered under the membership, and upon arriving today the cleaning was changed. But i was assured prior to beginning the service it would not effect the cost. At this point i began speaking with a blonde lady at the front desk. After going back and forth, each explaining our sides. we conclude where their was a misunderstanding. (the follow up appointment was not covered under their membership, how i had understood it to be when making the appointment) wether my fault or theirs for the misunderstanding.. the blonde haired woman at the desk remained completely professional through it all. she discussed with me until we were able to come to an understanding and solution. She kept level head (even when i became emotional) and was completely understanding of how and why i perceived the appointment to be covered. She was AMAZING. Because of her professionalism along with their entire team i will be a life time customer. I HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone avoiding getting any type of dental work done. Great team through and through!

Appointment today for cleaning. The hygienist was very kind and understanding with me and she took time to explain what she was going to do. I felt at ease with her. Her name was Mandi. After the cleaning, Dr. Smith came in to check her cleaning on my teeth. Dr. Smith was very patience with me as I had many questions concerning my next steps I need to handle. The office staff is friendly and always helpful. I would recommend tuscarora Dentistry to anyone who is looking for a place to feel comfortable. Thank you.

Compassionate and supportive staff. Elegant and welcoming reception /waiting area. Punctual and smooth transition from reception to completion of visit. Consistency in patient interaction amid both office supportive staff and dentists. Relieved to return to the practice as a patient after a few years away from the area! They can't give me enough referral cards...

I’ve been going to Tuscarora Dental for about 8 months now, and I can honestly say I’ve had nothing but great experiences. Everyone there is so kind, welcoming, and professional they really make you feel comfortable every visit. I also love that they use the latest technology, like a laser for cleanings, which makes everything feel quicker and way more comfortable. And their TikToks are honestly so funny and cute it just shows how much they genuinely enjoy what they do! If you’re looking for a dental office that truly cares and stays up to date, I highly recommend them!

The Dental Assistant is always kind to me and gentle. I appreciate how comfortable she made me and how informative and educating she was. The dentist was also great as she went over everything and made sure to answer any questions I had. Best Dental Office I have ever been with and the only Dentist I stayed with even though its more expensive! Thank you!
