After my family dentist was unable to fully extract my tooth, he referred me to Utah Oral Surgeons. I was nervous about my appointment for a few days, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about. Dr. Edmunds and his assistant were calm and professional and explained steps of the procedure. Beyond impressed with the excellent care I received.

This is Mary Cashdollar, patient, posting this review. Dr. Edmunds did a great job extracting my molar, explaining every step of the way what to expect. He was very fast and efficient. His dental staff are friendly, caring and easy to work with. The office staff are helpful and friendly, too.--All told it was a much better experience than I expected and I would highly recommend Utah Oral Surgeons.

Utah Oral Surgeons in Provo, Utah, focuses on oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implant treatment and surgical care to support long-term oral health. The practice works closely with local dentists and orthodontists so that any needed surgery fits into a patient's broader treatment plan. Implants are placed as a stable foundation for a crown, bridge, or other restoration, with treatment planned around each patient's health, anatomy, and long-term goals.
When additional preparation is needed before implant placement, the practice can recommend procedures such as bone grafting, and coordinates with a patient's restorative dentist so the implant plan aligns with their overall care. Sedation options are available when appropriate to support comfort during treatment. Patients considering dental implants can expect an evaluation, including imaging, so their procedure is approached as safely and predictably as possible.
Utah Oral Surgeons' clinical team includes Dr. Gary L. Crawford, Dr. William L. McBee, and Dr. Nathaniel T. Edmunds, all oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Dr. Crawford studied at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, completed general practice and oral surgery residencies, and offers treatments including dental implant placement and wisdom tooth removal at the practice's Provo, American Fork, and Price offices. Dr. McBee earned his dental degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Minnesota, performing complex surgery such as wisdom teeth removal and orthognathic surgery. Dr. Edmunds trained at Midwestern University in Arizona and completed further training at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania, with a practice focus that includes wisdom tooth extractions, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, dental implants, and facial trauma.
