We had my son’s wisdom teeth removed here, and the entire experience was excellent. The doctor and staff were professional, caring, and top-notch from start to finish. The procedure went very smoothly, and they even called several times afterward to check on his recovery, which we really appreciated. He had virtually no swelling, very little pain, and recovered much more easily than we expected. They prepared us well in case he experienced any discomfort, but thankfully everything went great. I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone needing wisdom teeth removed! Update. While the experience was great, they WAY overcharge and must be terrible at coding treatment, as my other child had the same procedure with the same insurance and it was almost no cost! Over $1000 out of pocket here with both medical and dental insurance.

It can take a while to get an appointment because it’s a busy place, but I have never had a problem with any procedure I’ve had here.

I recently required oral surgery to have my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Cernansky was my surgeon. He was very professional and answered all questions, he took his time and didn't rush in and out of the appointment. It was quick and pretty painless. He also came in post surgery to provide discharge information to my husband and answered all questions as well for him. I highly recommend Dr. Cernansky at Valley Oral. The office staff and nurses were also exceptional as well.

Do not plan on going here if you need urgent oral surgery done. I had to wait 3 months to get a consultation. The consultation went fine, but then they called me with 2 days notice to let me know i would owe $1,148 day of surgery (they accepted my dental insurance). A lady from their billing department claimed they didnt take Care Credit. I had to cancel due to needing to save money for the surgery. Weeks went by and i ended up getting a serious infection in my impacted wisdom tooth and needed urgent surgery for all 4. I called, explaining the amount of pain i was in and wanted to reschedule asap. The lady on the phone was rude, said they couldn't get me in for another 2 months and said go to ER. I basically begged the lady on the phone to relook at her schedule. They got me in the following week which i was thankful for. However, every day leading up to the surgery they called me changing locations of my surgery. First Bethlehem, then Lehighton and then finally Allentown. (they never told me who my surgeon would be). My first time ever hearing his name was when he walked in to perform my surgery. I found out the day before they did take Care Credit so i was wrongfully informed the first time i called and could have possibly had the surgery the second time around if i known and applied for Care Credit in time. I was overall pleased with surgery, the assistants were all nice. The lady at the front however charged us wrong at check in, called us back up and had to charge our card again. They didn't do a good job explaining my after care and didn't seem to want to take the time to explain it to us. They did send home a bag with instructions which was helpful but i like things coming from my doctor. We picked up 6 different medications at the pharmacy but were not explained the instructions/purpose to all these different medications as there were medications i have never heard of. I received a "check up" call the next day from the same lady i made a complaint about (the lady who wrongfully informed me of Care Credit). I explained i was slightly concerned about the amount of swelling on the area where i had the infection. She asked "well is it normal swelling for after surgery?" Isn't that something they are to explain to me considering I never had oral surgery before to know what was normal vs. not normal? That was strange. Overall, i am happy i finally got this matter taken care of. I just think it was way more of a hassle and stress than it needed to be.
