I would not use this dentist. I have been a patient for approximately 7 months and made 3 separate visits during that time. During my initial visit I was convinced to do a “deep cleaning” vs a standard cleaning which my insurance did not cover ( more to this story during visit 3). During my 2nd visit for more invasive dental work (2 crowns), the office manager provided me with an estimate for services which showed a reasonable out of pocket cost. When that work was completed and I owed significantly more money than estimated, I questioned the office manager on the discrepancy, she said the estimate from the insurance company is only a courtesy. This was a classic bait and switch and when I contacted my insurance regarding the services, they said there is no ambiguity in the coverage and the dentist could not have put in the correct information to get the initial insurance estimate. The 3rd visit was the most infuriating of them all. I booked an appointment for a cleaning (covered 100% by insurance), when the cleaning was completed, the hygienist/ check out clerk said I would owe money. I said “ that’s not possible this is a cleaning which is covered 100% by insurance “. The office manger engaged and said “well since you did a “deep cleaning” on your first visit, all future cleanings are periodontal so they are not standard cleanings and you owe $76.50. I have been getting my teeth cleaned for 50 years and it was barely a standard cleaning, the dentist didn’t even come in to check things out. They are not honest at this dental practice and I would absolutely not recommend going there. If you do go there getting everything in writing and double verified before any service is performed would be strongly recommend.

Okay, Deeberry, here's the combined and revised review: One Star - Unprofessional and Inconsiderate My recent experience with this dental practice was shockingly unprofessional. I called ahead to confirm my appointment and address a previous no-show fee, which I was assured had been cleared due to a prior issue with their system and phone lines. However, upon arriving, I was informed that the no-show fee was still on my account. The staff was unsympathetic and unwilling to take responsibility for the misinformation I received over the phone. The manager was inflexible and unapologetic, hiding behind "procedures" instead of focusing on customer satisfaction. To make matters worse, the staff showed a shocking lack of empathy. When I explained that I had missed a previous appointment due to my mother's passing, the staff member responded with disbelief, stating, "I find it hard to believe that anyone said that." This insensitive remark was the final straw. The entire experience was a chaotic display of poor communication and disregard for patients. I would advise anyone considering this practice to document every interaction with staff, as they are unwilling to take ownership of their mistakes. I will not be returning and strongly recommend others seek dental care elsewhere.

A professional establishment to say the least! I’ve been going there for years. The service is top-notch. Everyone is very friendly to meet and welcoming.Sandy does a wonderful job every time. He’s always very insightful for what I should do outside the dentist office and where they keep good hygiene!

Yanet was patient, gentle and professional. I was in for a cleaning & yearly exam. It was truly a stress free visit. Dr. Salib clearly values patient comfort & care. His team are all kind & professional. This is a wonderful practice & I am so grateful to have found them.

I recently visited Veranda Dentistry and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The office is welcoming, clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Lisa, the dental hygienist, was amazing—gentle, thorough, and very attentive. She explained each step of the cleaning process, which made me feel comfortable and informed. Dr. Salib was equally impressive. He took the time to explain my treatment plan clearly and made sure I understood all my options. His calm and reassuring approach really put me at ease, which is so important when visiting the dentist. The entire team at Veranda Dentistry truly prioritizes patient care and creates a positive, stress-free environment. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dental office that combines professionalism with genuine care.
