I had my lower two wisdom teeth removed here yesterday. The first appointment I had with them went great. The assistant was very thorough and the visit was paced very well. I left with no questions remaining, a folder with instructions for surgery preparation, a disinfectant mouthwash, and a pill to help calm me down 30 mins before surgery. The front desk and billing secretaries were very friendly and reliable (and beautiful! haha). I called to let them know about my worsening jaw pain and clicking, they let the surgeon know.
The day of the surgery I couldn't get any sleep because I was so nervous about the procedure. Turns out I didn't have much to be nervous about. Everything went very smoothly. The doctor addressed my jaw concerns and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. After that I was out of it from the lack of sleep and sedation. They wheeled me out of the office to my ride's car and I went home for a long nap. They also gave me a syringe and an ice pack which were much appreciated. So happy to finally have these removed (needed this done for 16 years). Thank you!

Had 4 wisdom teeth out and its been by far the worst medical experience of my life. One of them was done improperly and my entire left side of my tongue is numb. And trying to get meds has been nearly impossible. One lady straight up lied to me on the phone and said they were ready. Only for me to drive to pharmacy for them to say it was never sent. Would give 0 stars if i could. Totally unprofessional.

Our experience with Dr. Cormier-Lavoie was excellent. He and the rest of the staff were helpful, thorough, and kind. The procedure went seamlessly, and I thought the take home packet was well done. The front office team was also especially helpful trying to set up the appointments. We are so appreciative!

From the second I walked into this office, for the first time, til the time I walked out., it was absolutely amazing!!! I even mentioned this to Dr. Hardy., I told him all his staff, that I dealt with was priceless! He was super nice too. I have to say, our world has changed ALOT over the past few years, and it's actually refreshing, and nice to have dealt with kindness, friendliness, and professionalism all in the same place, which I find VERY rare right now., so yes, I would HIGHLY recommend., as I am a very customer service oriented person, and they definitely are great! It was a pure pleasure doing business here!

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Lavoie. Bottom two were severely impacted. If it weren’t for one of the nurses on staff I would’ve left before the surgery even started, and now that I am post-op, a lot of me wishes I had. Dr Lavoie is disgustingly egotistical and inconsiderate and gave absolutely no concern to my comfort of any kind. The office staff was incredibly hard to get ahold of with time sensitive post op concerns. The aftercare plan was so far below remotely acceptable. Overall horrendous and embarrassing experience.

Meet the Doctors
The practice's surgeons are Albert S. Hardy III, DMD, and Clark D. Andelin, DMD, MD. Dr. Hardy is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who earned his dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and completed a four year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Case Western Reserve University. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1993 and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Andelin earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2010 and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where he also earned his medical degree in 2014 and a two year general surgery certificate. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Vermont State Dental Society and holds full operating and admitting privileges at the University of Vermont Medical Center. The practice serves patients from its Colchester and Stowe offices.
