I am currently under the care of Dr. Arnold and his team. My experience so far has been excellent. From my very first visit, the entire staff has been welcoming, professional, and attentive. The front desk team, especially Bethany, is always friendly and helpful, making scheduling and check-ins easy and stress-free.
Dr. Arnold has been incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, taking the time to explain each step of my treatment and answer any questions I have. I really appreciate how patient and reassuring he is—it makes a big difference when you’re going through ongoing care. I feel confident knowing I’m in good hands.
The clinical staff, especially Jennifer, has also been amazing throughout this process. Jennifer and the clinical staff are kind, supportive, and always make sure I’m comfortable during each visit. They consistently check in and provide clear guidance on what to expect next, which helps ease any anxiety.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the care I’ve received so far and would highly recommend this office to anyone needing oral surgery. I’m grateful to have such a dedicated and compassionate team supporting me through my treatment.

I was as nervous as you could be, I needed 4 teeth pulled, 3 wisdom and 1 front tooth. Until this day I never even had a IV in my arm, this staff is AMAZING. Jen is the nurse who did my IV she’s so gentle I never felt a single thing. Dr Arnold is very good and fast. This entire visit only took 30 mins or so and I never felt ANY pain, I got the IV Sedation and it was the best money I’ve ever spent. I struggled with a cracked tooth for 7 months please don’t be me, go get it fixed and go to vista dental.

My mother had a wisdom tooth removed and was administered anesthesia. She absolutely had no pain the rest of the day. We could not have had a better experience anywhere else. The staff was welcoming, professional and punctual. Dr. Arnold did an amazing job. Everyone we encountered was friendly with a smile. Kudos to this outstanding team!

Great staff from the front to the back! My dental hygienist was amazing! Love her, Dr. Arnold was very efficient & talked to me through the process & what to expect. In and out with no complications. Great facility!

Dr Arnold and staff were amazing. Bethany and Megan were so great and got me in quickly for my cracked molar. Very professional, sensitive, thorough and caring office. I was very nervous and Dr Arnold talked me through whole procedure. Thank you.

Meet the Doctors
The oral surgeon at Vista Aberdeen is Dr. J. Patrick Arnold, DMD, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. A native of western North Carolina, Dr. Arnold graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2003 and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army, completing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Fort Gordon (Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center). His military career included full scope practice at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, serving as a surgical mentor for the combined Army and Air Force residency program at San Antonio Military Medical Center, and directing the Fort Bragg Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program beginning in 2015. He recently retired from the Army and now practices at Vista full time.
