Great staff and attentive care. Virginia up front is great; she's always been a great advocate for my care and helped me figure out scheduling and procedures. The hygienists and the dentist are great. Would recommend for someone looking for a new dentist or looking to switch practices!

Everyone in this office is super nice and caring. I came in and had teethe pulled and implants and top denture. Very caring people Dr martin is very compassionate and doesn’t want you to be in pain. I highly recommend this dr and his staff! I am terrified of going to a dentist and I don’t worry when I go here

I am writing to share my recent experience at this dental office. While parts of my visit were positive, there were also concerning interactions that I believe should be addressed.
During my appointment, I encountered two staff members (both heavyset Hispanic women)—both dental assistants—whose behavior came across as passive-aggressive and unprofessional. One assistant made comments implying that individuals with government employment have better insurance and benefits, which felt like an indirect suggestion that I may not have been able to afford the services. This assumption was both inappropriate and uncomfortable.
After I clarified that I own my own business and had no concerns about covering the cost, I was asked additional, unnecessary questions about my profession. The tone and nature of these questions felt intrusive and gave the impression that my personal information was being discussed among staff rather than respected. I also observed the assistants speaking quietly to one another and huddling together, which further contributed to my discomfort.
Additionally, one of the assistants dressed in red scrubs repeatedly made comments suggesting that the procedure would be extremely painful. Rather than being informative or reassuring, these remarks felt exaggerated and seemed to create unnecessary anxiety.
As a patient, I expect professionalism, respect, and a welcoming environment regardless of background. The behavior I experienced felt dismissive and carried undertones that made me question whether assumptions were being made about me as a Black woman. This is not acceptable in a healthcare setting.
I would like to note that not all aspects of my visit were negative. The front office staff were kind and welcoming, and the dentist was professional, informative, and provided a clear treatment plan. I do intend to return for future services because of the dentist’s care and expertise.
However, I strongly encourage management to address the conduct of these staff members. All patients deserve to feel respected and comfortable during their visit, and I hope steps will be taken to ensure a more inclusive and professional environment moving forward.

Scam artists at worst, incompetents at best. Waco Dental insisted I needed an immediate deep gum cleaning — an expensive and often painful procedure that is frequently not covered by insurance — and refused to perform the routine cleaning I had scheduled. The urgency and refusal to provide even a basic cleaning raised red flags, so I declined and sought a second opinion from my longtime dentist in my hometown. My dentist confirmed that my teeth and gums are completely healthy and found no clinical basis for the treatment Waco Dental was recommending. They indicated it was a good decision to walk away and that Waco Dental was likely trying to scam me. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any costly procedures here.
