This office is always friendly and welcoming, which eases my worries about being there. I just had oral surgery to remove a fractured molar (by Dr. Kandelwall) and the procedure was quick but thorough. I was pleasantly surprised to not need any pain medication afterwards. I had my follow up appointment today to check the bone graft and it’s healing well. I would recommend this office if you need expert dental surgery.

I had an outstanding experience at WCDOral surgery. Dr. Khandelwal explained everything that was going to happen during my wisdom tooth extraction which put my mind in ease. Everything worked out as planned. I was highly impressed that Dr. Khandelwal personally checked in with me that night to see how I was doing. I recommend him and stuff highly.

Everyone was so friendly and professional. Best outcome for me and my extraction. Dr. Khandelwal is great. Explains process clearly. Checks up to see how you’re doing. I’m so relieved to have this done. They made it easy.

I truly appreciate the staff & Dr. Marre. It's difficult to make the decision to have a tooth removed, but knowing I couldn't receive better care definitely put my mind at ease. I want thank every member of the team for the care I received!

About Walnut Creek-danville Oral Surgery
Walnut Creek-Danville Oral Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice with two offices, one at 300 El Cerro Boulevard, Suite B in Danville and one on San Miguel Drive in Walnut Creek. The practice serves patients throughout the East Bay, including Alamo, San Ramon, Blackhawk, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, Orinda, Moraga, Concord, Clayton and Martinez. Its two oral surgeons place dental implants for all types of implant restorations, from a single missing tooth to multiple implants supporting implant-retained dentures through an all-on-x approach. The practice also offers bone grafting, including ridge augmentation, sinus lifts and socket preservation, to build up the jawbone when it is too thin to support implants, along with implant-supported overdentures.
Beyond implants, the practice performs wisdom teeth removal, tooth extractions, pre-prosthetic surgery, oral pathology evaluation, treatment of impacted canines and facial trauma care. The website describes the use of cone beam CT scanners and 3D imaging for diagnosis and planning, several levels of sedation including intravenous sedation, hospital privileges in the area, and platelet-rich fibrin derived from the patient's own blood to support healing after surgery. Surgical assistants are described as certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery assisting, CPR, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support. Spanish is spoken in the office, and the first visit consists of a consultation to explain the diagnosis and treatment options, with surgery sometimes possible the same day. CareCredit financing information is available on the practice website.
