Amazing first experience. I am so glad I found Dr Annoni. He's very thorough and knowledgeable, professional. His staff is remarkable as well. I have to mention Debi whose gentle demeanor calmed me, as it was my first visit.

I was officially over my old dentist — think “Netflix and drill” vibes with zero customer service. A friend recommended Walnutcreek Dentists, so I figured I’d give them a try. Now, let me just say this: I’m almost 50 and for some reason dental work gives me more anxiety than a surprise tax audit. Regular medical stuff? No problem. Someone coming at my mouth with a drill? Instant flop sweat. But these folks? Absolute pros. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel completely at ease. In nearly half a century of going to the dentist, this was hands-down one of my best experiences. They were thorough, detailed, and even checked things I didn’t know were a “thing,” like my tongue for cancer. (Apparently that’s a milestone check-up when you’re my age — lucky me!) The cleaning? A+. The staff? Friendly, funny, and zero judgment for my coffee habits. The checkout process? Smooth as freshly polished enamel — they explained everything clearly, laid out my next steps, and gave me an actual plan of action. And yes, I walked out with a goodie bag. No candy, obviously — just top-tier dental swag to keep my smile in “Instagram-ready” shape. If you want a dentist who genuinely cares and isn’t just looking to cash in, I highly recommend Walnutcreek Dentists. Thank you all for making the experience painless and even (dare I say it?) enjoyable. I’d say I’m “looking forward” to my next visit, but… it’s still the dentist. Let’s not get crazy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — 5 stars, 1 cavities, and a slightly less anxious patient.

Edit: I’ve amended my review, as last night the office manager, Lisa, reached out to me to go over what happened with the office and my insurance. She made sure I felt heard, and assured me that this is not something that they want to happen, and it should have never happened at all. She was wonderful, and I felt as though adjusting my review was necessary. Simply being heard, and apologized to goes a long way, and if my insurance paid out more for out of network benefits I do believe I would give this office a second chance. I had a cleaning and exam in this office back in August of 2025. My experience with my appointment was perfect, both the doctor and the assistants were very kind and knowledgeable and did a great job. The front office was kind and check out was smooth. However, I provided my insurance before my appointment, to which they told me was in network with their office. Come to find out a month later I received a notice from my insurance that I was actually out of network and owed the office $340 for my cleaning and exam. I then provided a secondary insurance to have submitting for out of network benefits because I figured I may as well get as much covered as possible, to which the office failed to submit the claim the 4 times I called and provided the insurance information. It was only just yesterday, January 26th 2026, that I finally had gotten them to submit my claim, with two days to spare before my secondary insurance would no longer accept the claim due to “timely filing”. At the end of the day, while the doctor and staff were great for my appointment, I had a very difficult time getting my insurance taken care of, and when I asked to speak to a manager about my experience and my problem I was never connected with him or her. Unfortunately I felt as though the staff was trying to keep me from speaking to a manager when I explicitly asked to talk with them. I will not be returning to this office in the future.

Walnut Creek Dentists is an excellent Dental Practice. In addition to normal cleaning and care I have had two significant procedures. They were both handled with great care and professionalism. The Doctors and staff are very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommended.
