I couldn't recommend Waterfront, qnd specifically Dr. Tipton enough! He's very calming, non-judgmental, and accommodating to his patients. The rest of the staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful. I will definitely continue going to Waterfront for my and my family's dental needs!

My experience at Waterfront Family Dental was very good. Very professional office and my dental care was excellent. I have recently returned to Winona. I was a client prior to leaving Winona 10 years ago. Other than location, the dental care remains the same. 馃憤

Being 2+ hours away from home and needing a chipped root canal extracted can be scary. If you're a university student and it's your first time needing a dentist in Winona, PLEASE consider Waterfront!! Staff were SO nice and accommodating. Very sympathetic of financial reasons for not choosing alternative dental options. Absolutely loved my time coming here. They made having a molar pulled a comfortable experience!!

About Waterfront Family Dentistry
Waterfront Family Dentistry is a general and family dental practice located at 106 East Second Street in downtown Winona, Minnesota. The practice provides comprehensive dental care for both children and adults, and describes its approach as educating patients about their options so they can make decisions that benefit their overall health. Services include dental implants, dentures, bridges, crowns, fillings, veneers, whitening, root canals, extractions, wisdom tooth removal, periodontal therapy, traditional braces and Invisalign, dentistry for kids, and prompt emergency care. The practice also offers digital dentistry using optical 3D scanning, and sedation options including laughing gas (nitrous oxide) and IV conscious sedation.
For patients considering dental implants, the practice explains that implants are artificial roots and teeth surgically placed into the jaw bone, and that they can replace one or more missing teeth without affecting neighboring teeth, or provide added support and stability for a bridge or denture. The implant is placed while the area is numb and allowed to heal and integrate with the bone for up to six months before the final artificial teeth are made and fitted. The office notes that services often referred out to specialists, such as IV conscious sedation and wisdom tooth removal, are provided in-house to save patients time. Waterfront Family Dentistry accepts most dental insurances, offers financing through CareCredit, and is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
