As always, this dental practice is a testament to how successful a modern approach to oral health can be.
The dentists and hygienists are consummate professionals. The practice utilizes its digital tools to best advantage, supporting patients through excellent communication.
They even remind me to take my antibiotic one hour before my appointment. More than once I had to reschedule because I forgot to take the medication. I asked the front office staff if it were possible for them to remind me to take it. Without a moment's hesitation they said of course. They do, and I'm ever so grateful!
If you are thinking of changing your provider, or are new to the area, I urge you to establish a relationship with this dental practice before they have to turn potential patients away.

If anyone has dental anxiety this is the place for you. From the moment you walk through the door, this place has an at home feel. The staff greet you and offer you a snack or a beverage. The Hygienist is so calming with her great conversation and she makes me laugh with her fun personality. I have seen both of the dentists here and they are both knowledgeable and amazing! I trust their expertise! I work 2 minutes away so I can make my appointments work with my schedule. I am so thankful to my friend and coworkers that referred me here!

If you have any “dental fear” and even if you don’t West 7th Dental is your answer. The staff are universally kind, compassionate, and professional. The office is warm and inviting and everything is explained to patients thoroughly before scheduling and proceeding with recommendations. This office is truly run the way dental offices should be:)

Today was my first visit at a new dentist office. My experience was wonderful. The staff are all friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I felt very pampered and appreciated. I look forward to being a patient for a long time to come.

as someone who has severe dentist anxiety, I have never had a better experience than West 7th Dental! The whole staff is very understanding and kind - I love that you can watch netflix during cleanings and the hot wax hand treatment is amazing!

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Hughes is originally from Rochester, Minnesota, and spent 10 years working in various practices before co-founding West 7th Dental with Dr. Iburg. Dr. Iburg grew up in Minnesota and now lives in Saint Paul, and both doctors describe enjoying getting to know their patients and tailoring care to individual needs.
