One of my best recent dental experiences from the initial contact to todays surgery completion/or almost. Staff are friendly and are good at keeping patients updated on progress and meeting their needs. Dr Chen and Assistants always had my comfort first. I would not hesitate to recommend this provider to anyone. Parking was crowded and tight, an adventure. Thank You! Happy Camper!

Dr. Chen is an outstanding periodontist who combines exceptional clinical skill with genuine empathy. I have undergone multiple periodontal procedures under his care, including complex treatments, and the results have been excellent. What impressed me most was that I experienced virtually no pain, and every procedure was handled with a calm, gentle, and reassuring approach. Dr. Chen takes the time to act in the patient’s best interest, prioritizing long‑term health and thoughtful treatment planning. The entire staff including Dr Martin were very welcoming, friendly and professional. They explained what they were going to do before they did it. This way I understood each step of the procedure. Being this was my first time having a gingival graft I had several questions for the staff. They were very polite in answering my questions and providing me with the information that I needed. I am a particularly hard patient because I have a very limited oral aperture due to scleroderma. They were very gentle with me and gave me time to close my mouth to rest it during the procedure. It’s the little things like that, that make the difference. Thank you for your help.

I was “introduced” to Dr. Katie Martin by my prosthodontist, Dr. Fraiman. Dr. Martin performed a successful sinus lift a few months ago and recently surgery for two dental implants. In addition to dental surgery, she is an educator. She and her staff skillfully let you know what the procedure’s entail, what to expect, and encourage questions so you’re informed. Post/op instructions are clear. I am very fortunate to have her as my dental surgeon.

I had broken a tooth at the gum line. My dentist referred me to West Valley Periodontics. They were able to see me quickly and started the process that day. I had 2 follow ups after the completed work to make sure.all was well. They offer a 5 year guarantee on their work so I will have yearly follow.ups. From the front desk to the assistants and Dentists performing procedures, they are proffesional, capable, friendly and thorough. I highly recommend.
