My experience was satisfactory. I was there for a wisdom tooth extraction, and Dr. Jamali and his staff made me fill at ease. I felt no pain not even during the numbing process. The extraction procedure took about five minutes, I was in and out within 45 minutes. Believe me I have deep roots and it very difficult to pull my teeth, that’s why I was recommended to a specialist. This wasn’t my first visit. It was my second time coming for extraction because the first dentist I went to tried to pull another tooth of mine had left the roots in my mouth and I had to go back to the dentist so he could recommend me to a specialist and that’s when I was recommended to Westgate Implant and oil surgery center.

I got 4 wisdom teeth removed at this office with local anesthesia and while teeth removals are never a fun experience, Dr. Jamali did a great job. He worked fast and efficiently, but was patient when I needed to take breaks. My healing was pretty quick, all the staff is very pleasant, and overall I’m very happy I got my wisdom teeth removal done here.

Getting teeth pulled is never pleasant, but the staff here sure does make it way easier. Very patient and kind.
And the Oral Surgeon is an absolute gem. Answered any and all questions, went over every possible course of treatment and never once made me feel like a bother. He really eased my nerves before starting the process.
Definitely recommend coming here if you can

I went here to get my wisdom tooth extracted because I was in pain. The dentist told me to have them all extracted. He stated that insurance would pay for it. Turns out the other teeth didn't need to be pulled. I think he only told me that to get more money from me. The insurance didn't pay because the procedure was unnecessary. He misled me. This seems very dishonest.
Also, they had to put me to sleep. However, they made me leave before I was fully awake. I would not recommend this dentist. There are too many dentists in the world to go to a potentially dishonest one that doesn't seem to care about anything but money

West Gate Implant and Oral Surgery Center is absolutely top-notch. From start to finish, the visit was quick, easy, and completely stress-free. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They truly make you feel comfortable.
My entire family has come here for wisdom teeth extractions, and every single experience has been excellent. The care, professionalism, and efficiency are unmatched. If you’re looking for an oral surgery center you can trust, this is hands down the best place to go. Highly recommend!

Meet the Doctors
Care at Westgate Implant and Oral Surgery Center is led by Jason Jamali, DDS, MD, a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. Jamali earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and his dental degree at Columbia University, then returned to the University of Michigan for his medical and oral and maxillofacial surgery training, which included additional work in reconstruction and microvascular surgery. He also completed two years of general surgery training and advanced training in anesthesia. Dr. Jamali previously served as a full-time assistant professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago and continues teaching residents at Illinois Masonic Hospital, with particular interest in orthognathic surgery, implants, facial trauma, and benign pathology.
