They got me in literally the next day and I have two more appointments within the next 2 months! I went to the dentist for the first time in a LOOOONG time and I joked with the hygienist that there would be lots of blood and shame. She said "absolutely not! This is a safe space and we're happy you're here." She was so gentle and encouraging that I'm actually motivated to take care of myself now. Felt like she actually cared and I wish all of the best things in life for everyone there.

Not only do they charge you for a visit where the doctor refuses to provide care due to high blood pressure even when other options for anesthetic are available but then when you try to contact the manager she will not call you to discuss it despite leaving multiple messages locally and with the HQ call center. Then you contact the administrative offices who also do not call you to discuss this. On top of all that you finally get a filling and the doctor says it’s pretty deep so we put medicine on it but it might need a root canal. So then the tooth starts giving you issues, like possible infection/abcess, so you call for an appointment. They schedule you 2 weeks out but that’s just to diagnose and not even treat the issue. The pain starts to get worse so you call back same day as the appointment and the call center leaves a voice message for the local office to contact you about starting a regiment of antibiotics. You receive no call back and instead are left with no treatment from your dentist over the entirety of long holiday weekend. Long story short I will be checking with my insurance provider to change insurance companies because I trusted a company not only with my care but also with my insurance coverage and unfortunately if you have Willamette dental insurance you can only see Willamette dental clinics. ***UPDATE*** The Practice Manager continue to neglect or refuse calling to deal with the situation and now they force payment by blocking your account until you pay the balance. Blocked account means they won’t schedule any appointments for care. So maybe they just don’t care to call because they know you can’t go anywhere else because of your insurance and you have to pay them so why would they want to call to resolve the issue when they can just force you to pay so you can get the care you need. Also still haven’t heard from someone on the management team per Willamette’s reply so maybe the reply is just an act of placation. Time will tell. I will say though the frontline and patient facing staff are all great and very helpful.

Willamette dental got me in very quickly. I haven’t had great past experiences with dentists so I was very happy that I chose this office. The hygienist was cheerful and thorough, and the dentist Audrey Nygren was friendly and informative.

Best staff ever! We love Theresa the hygienist her expertise and knowledge of explaining the process along with Dr Nguyen sweet and patient in explaining the importance of aftercare! You two ladies rock followed by the dental assistant, and front desk receptionist ladies!

It was a waste of my time. I would take your insurance elsewhere or go to another dentist. I needed a denture to work around my existing post. They said I would have to pay out of pocket have it removed,then they could do the denture. I had insurance through goodwill but it was no good at Willamette dental. I had a denture made around my implant before with basic OHP coverage at gental dental like 4 years ago. These people are crooks. Im going to cancel my insurance and go back to gental dental cause the get the job done. Willamette dental is a joke.
