I recently had a wonderful experience at Winegar Dental! YES - I had a wonderful experience at the dentist!! The receptionists were energetic, compassionate, engaged in the business and (even) funny, the hygienist (Abigail) was very thorough, careful, caring and educational (I'm 67 and she taught me several new techniques to care for my teeth. Doctor Maddie and Doctor Joe provided a quite welcoming environment, explained each procedure, were gentle (when needed) and even convinced me to come back!!! I highly recommend Winegar Dental.

It's always a pleasure to have my dental work done at Winegar Dental. The staff is always cheerful, and treat you as a friend. Dr. Joe, my hygienist, and dental assistant always take the time to answer any questions I have. They are easy to talk to and professional. I always feel my visits are like visiting with old friends.

I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Winegar, Kari and Jill. Every still person I interacted with there was super kind, pleasant and welcoming. I walked in teary eyed, scared and anxious but I left feeling so much better. Everyone deserves to have the dental visit experience I had. From the moment I walked in, I felt cared for. Highly recommend Winegar Dental!

Highly recommend! I’ve been going to Winegar Dental for 40 years and the current staff continues to provide quality service as always. The staff is considerate and kind and Dr. Maddi is willing to inform and discuss options without pushing unnecessary procedures.

Consistently Incredible care, every single time. My children have gone to Winegar Dental for >5 years and I have never once had a negative experience. Every employee is kind, patient, helpful and competent. We commute >60 miles to get our dental care done here and it is worth every single mile!! Thank you Winegar Dental team for being so good at what you do!!

His continuing education affiliations include the Minnesota Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Great Lakes Implant Institute. Dr. Madeline Varland graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2024 and worked at the clinic before dental school, learning from Dr. Carol Winegar and Dr. Joe Winegar.
