I literally drove from North Denver to this office!
The office energy is addictive! It’s a snowboard/ski themed atmosphere, and it’s AWESOME! The environmemnt is nothing like I’ve experienced in the past. And I’ve been to several dentists….
The staff is so kind and caring. Dr. Bonn & his assistant Katlynn were so much more than kind. And precise! I can’t begin to describe their level of professionalism and attention to my issue. Literally felt like they showed up to work today just for me!
Please, do YOURSELF a favor, and go see this team! You WILL NOT be disappointed!!

Dr. Donn and his staff are amazing! They are treating patients like family. Nata has been my hygienist for like a decade, and she is the absolute best. Kelly at the front office always works some magic, and gets me in for appointments when needed. She has guided me through the process for several different procedures and referred me to specialists. Dr. Donn is a great dentist, always explaining everything in detail, and makes getting a filling or a crown a "fun" and comfortable process getting me through with ease. I highly recommend them!

After a terrible experience at another dental office where I was told I had multiple cavities, I decided to get a second opinion here—and I’m so glad I did. The team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and even managed to squeeze me in on short notice.
After a thorough exam, they told me I didn’t have any cavities at all. I really appreciated their honesty and professionalism. It’s clear they care about their patients and provide trustworthy, ethical care instead of recommending unnecessary treatment.
If you’re looking for a dental office that is honest, compassionate, and truly has your best interests in mind, I highly recommend Dr.Mark Fincher and his team. I’m so grateful I found this office and will definitely be coming back!

Every single person I've interacted with here has been absolutely lovely. The atmosphere is calming, and unlike any other dentist office I've been in, in the best possible ways. They're good at keeping you relaxed, and are very thorough and efficient. As if that wasn't enough, they quoted almost $10,000 less than comfort dental for all the work I'll need done. If you need a dentist (or even if you don't) do yourself a huge favor and come here!

This was the best experience I have ever had. The doctor listened to all concerns I had and made sure to explain everything to me in a comforting way; making me less anxious for the appointment. Then the hygienist did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. I wasnt in pain and I felt very clean after. Overall I would recommend to everyone.

Word of Mouth Family Dentistry provides comprehensive dental care in the Cheyenne Mountain and Broadmoor area of Colorado Springs, Colorado, in what the practice describes as a fun and relaxed, spa-like atmosphere. The office continues the longtime neighborhood practice previously run by Dr. Richard Mutchler and aims to feel different from a typical dental visit, treating every patient like part of the dental family. Services include general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, and same day emergency dental care, along with same day crowns designed and made in the office using fully digital impressions.
For patients considering dental implants, the practice places titanium implants in the jawbone to act as prosthetic tooth roots, then attaches an abutment that connects the implant to a crown, bridge, or denture, replacing a tooth from the root to the chewing surface. Implant treatment follows a four step process: an initial consultation, implant surgery, a healing period of three to four months while the implant bonds with the bone, and delivery of the final restoration. Planning is done with in-office cone beam imaging, a scan that produces three dimensional images of the jawbone, teeth, and surrounding structures for safer, more predictable implant placement. The office accepts most major PPO insurance plans and offers an in-office discount membership plan for patients without insurance.
Meet the Doctors
Word of Mouth Family Dentistry is led by Dr. Ben Donn and Dr. Christopher Bowen, who the practice says share a philosophy of conservative, high quality dentistry and have over 30 years of combined experience. Dr. Donn earned his doctorate at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, completed a year of specialized training in placing dental implants, holds national certification in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and focuses on full mouth restoration. Dr. Bowen is a retired United States Army Colonel with 21 years of military service, completed both one year and two year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residencies, served as program director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Carson for six years, is board certified by the American Board of General Dentistry, and earned his Mastership Award in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2023.
