    Cookies and IP Addresses

To serve you more efficiently, we use "cookies" and similar technologies. A cookie is a small piece of data stored on your device that contains information about your interaction with a website. Cookies allow a website to personalize itself for each user, reduce the time it takes for pages to load, and help us collect analytics about how the Services are used. We may also collect tracking data on partner pages related to activity involved with the requests you submit through our Services. This information is used to monitor the performance of our partners and to compensate us for qualified introductions.

We also keep track of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and may disclose your IP address in the course of operating our Services. An IP address is a number used by computers on the network to identify your device when you connect to the internet.

Your browser or device may offer settings that allow you to choose whether cookies are set and to delete them. For more information about these controls and to exercise your cookie preferences, visit your browser or device's help materials. If you choose to reject cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of our Services. To learn more about cookies generally, you can visit allaboutcookies.org.

We permit some non-affiliated business partners (such as advertisers and analytics providers) to set cookies through our Services. We have limited access to or control over information collected through such cookies. This Privacy Policy covers the use of our cookies only and does not cover the use of cookies by third parties.

When you visit our Services, cookies and similar technologies may be used to associate these activities with other personal information we have about you, including by association with your email address or postal address. We, or service providers acting on our behalf, may then send communications and marketing to you. You may opt out of this kind of advertising by submitting an opt-out request through our Consumer Privacy Rights Request page or by contacting us using the information at the end of this policy.

    Clear Gifs and Email Tracking

We use a software technology called clear gifs (also known as web beacons or pixels) to better manage content on our Services and our marketing emails. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. They allow us to understand what content is effective and which marketing emails recipients have opened and engaged with. If you would like to opt out of marketing emails, please follow the unsubscribe instructions included in any email you receive from us.

    Information Selling and Sharing

Sale or Sharing of Your Personal Information

Under applicable state privacy laws, the terms "sale" and "sharing" can be defined broadly. Depending on the jurisdiction, transferring personal information to third parties for advertising, lead generation, or similar purposes may constitute a "sale," "share," or "targeted advertising" even when no money changes hands.

We may sell or share, or process for targeted advertising as those terms are defined under applicable state law, the following categories of personal information with the following categories of third parties:

We do not sell or share sensitive personal information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Lead Generation, Provider Matching, and Financing Pre-Qualification

If you do not want further communication from a particular business partner, please notify that party directly. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests with respect to communications we send, but we cannot control communications sent by third parties to whom your information has already been transmitted.

We may transfer information to third parties in the following situations, which may not constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable law:

    • To service providers who operate portions of the Services or provide services to us, including hosting, payment processing, customer support, email delivery, analytics, advertising operations, and similar functions. We require these service providers to use information only for the purpose of providing services to us and to maintain appropriate safeguards.

    • In connection with, or during the negotiation of, any merger, sale of company stock or assets, financing, acquisition, divestiture, reorganization, bankruptcy, or dissolution of all or a portion of the business. Any successor will continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy unless modified as described in this policy.

    Advertisements

From time to time, you may receive advertisements for Dental Implant Directory served by third party websites, ad networks, or directly from our Services. Such advertisements may be placed by third party ad servers or ad networks. Your interactions with those third parties are governed by the privacy policies of those third parties, not by this Privacy Policy.

    Marketing Opt-Out

We provide you the opportunity to opt out of having your personal information used for marketing purposes. You may decline to provide personal information to us, and you may refuse cookies in your browser, although some features of the Services may not function properly as a result.

You may continue to receive email communications from us for up to ten (10) business days after we receive your unsubscribe request while we process the change.

Dental Implant Directory can only control its own mailing list and communications. Our business partners maintain their own mailing lists and communication preferences. To stop communications from a partner, you must contact that partner directly.

Our Services may contain links to third party websites, including the websites of dental practices listed in the directory, financing partners, and advertisers. When you visit a linked third party site, you will be interacting with that third party under its own privacy policy, terms of use, and security practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of use of any third party from whom you obtain services.

    Minors

The Services are intended for use by adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information about visitors under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may not use the Services unless they are used with the consent, permission, and supervision of a parent or guardian.
